Camera Ready Requirements
Congratulations on your acceptance to the MICCAI 2026 Doctoral Symposium! Please follow these instructions carefully to prepare your camera ready manuscript for publication in the Springer LNCS proceedings.
Important Notice
These instructions apply to all accepted reports. Please read them carefully, as failure to follow the guidelines may result in rejection for publication.
Format and Length
Final reports must follow the MICCAI format with a single author. 8 pages + 2 pages of references.
Figures and Tables
- Figures or tables reproduced from other published papers (including your papers) are not permitted, as reports will be published in Springer.
- Authors must rephrase or redraw all figures and tables in their own words and style.
License to Publish
- A signed License to Publish (LtP) form is required. Download the form here: License to Publish (Word).
- The form must be signed in ink; digital or scanned signatures are not acceptable.
Final Submission Package
Please prepare the following files. All materials must be uploaded on OpenReview.
- The final camera-ready PDF of the report.
- The signed License to Publish (LtP) form.
- Your manuscript source files:
- LaTeX: a ZIP file containing all
.tex files, figures, the .bib file, and any non-standard style files or fonts, named paper-id_source.zip.
- Word: the source
.docx file, named paper-id_source.docx.

Presentation Requirements
Poster
- All accepted participants must prepare and present a poster, including those invited to PhD Thesis Madness. Evaluation takes place at the poster session.
- The poster should be in portrait format and not exceed A0 size (33.1 in x 46.8 in or 841 mm x 1189 mm).
- Poster sessions take place during the last days of the main conference: September 28-30, 2026.
- Poster preparation must follow the MICCAI poster guidelines.
- Authors must include the Doctoral Symposium logos in their poster design. This logo can be accessed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wDbKN13SdpwN-xhIPkR1ahj9YaSgu_wS/view?usp=sharing
PhD Thesis Madness Presentation
- The MSB and Doctoral Symposium logos must appear on the first slide.
- Only authors invited for oral presentations as part of the PhD Thesis Madness Competition will present their slides in person on Day 2 of the MICCAI main conference (September 29, 2026). Check the MICCAI 2026 Program at a Glance (PDF) for details.
- PhD Thesis Madness invitees must still prepare and present a poster; evaluation is done at the poster session.
- For these authors, the slides used in the in-person presentation may be edited if necessary.
